1. Service Description
Promotee (the “App”) is a free, browser-based tool provided by Sola Studio, based in Japan. The App allows you to upload your own CSV file and use it in your browser to practise interviews or other question-and-answer content. By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Local Processing of Uploaded Files
- Uploaded CSV files are processed locally within your browser. Their contents are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
- An internet connection is required to access and use the App, and limited technical or analytics information may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. User Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for the content of any files you use with the App and for ensuring that you have the right to use that content.
- The App does not encrypt or protect uploaded content on your device. If you use a shared or unattended device, other people may be able to view information displayed in the App.
- You should not use the App to process sensitive or confidential information unless you are satisfied that your device and local environment are adequately protected.
4. Browser Storage and Preferences
- The App may store limited settings or user-interface states in your browser, such as an announcement dismissal and your cookie consent choice.
- Optional analytics cookies are used only in accordance with your analytics choice. You can change that choice through Cookie Settings.
- You can clear locally stored settings and cookies through your browser settings.
5. Prohibited Actions
- Violating any applicable law or regulation
- Infringing the rights of another person or organisation
- Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the App
- Using the App in a manner that could damage its availability, security, or operation
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sola Studio makes no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sola Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data or exposure of information on a user’s device. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
8. Privacy, Cookies, and Analytics
- The App uses necessary browser storage and Google Analytics with consent mode. Optional analytics cookies are enabled only when you accept analytics.
- When analytics consent is denied, Google Analytics may still receive cookieless signals that do not read or write analytics cookies.
- Details about the information processed, cookies, consent choices, and retention periods are provided in our Privacy Policy. You can review or change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings.
9. Changes to the App or These Terms
- We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time.
- We may also revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced within the App or by another reasonable method. Continued use of the App after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to the App or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Japan, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
11. Effective Date
These Terms are effective from 21 August 2026.
