Start here. Upload your questions. Practice your answers.

What is Promotee?

Promotee is a simple, privacy-friendly flashcard tool. It helps you practice interview questions — or any Q&A — in your own words, at your own pace. Got a list of questions? Upload them as a CSV. No account. No tracking. No distractions.

Step 1: Gather Your Questions

Your file needs at least two columns: question and answer. You can also add a category column to group cards by topic.

Choose a Template

Column Format Guide

Your CSV must include at least:

Other basics:

  • CSV must include a header row
  • Column order doesn't matter — the app matches them by name.
  • Extra columns like id or timestamp → ignored
  • Max 300 rows per file
  • Supports UTF-8 & multiple languages

Step 2: Drop Your File

Go to the Upload page and select your CSV file.

  • Only .csv files are accepted
  • question or answer must not be empty

Step 3: Choose Your Challenge

You can customize your session:

Category
Filter by topic or view all cards
Order
Random or CSV order
Unremembered only
Show only cards you haven’t marked yet

Flip cards to reveal answers. Mark them as remembered when you’re done.
