1. Operator and Contact
- Promotee (the “App”) is operated by Sola Studio, a sole proprietorship based in Japan. The operator is Yoko Shiina.

2. Information We Process
- Uploaded CSV contents: CSV files are processed locally within your browser. Their contents are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
- Analytics information: Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, page titles and locations, approximate engagement, browser or device information, screen resolution, language, and general geographic region.
- Network information: Internet communications with the App and Google Analytics may involve processing an IP address. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
- Browser information: The App stores limited settings and states in your browser, including your cookie consent choice and, where applicable, whether you dismissed an announcement.
- The App does not provide user accounts and does not ask you to submit a name, email address, password, or account credentials to use its core features.
3. Local Processing of Uploaded Files
- Uploaded files and their question-and-answer contents remain within the browser session on your device and are not transmitted to Sola Studio or Google Analytics.
- If another person has access to your device or browser session, they may be able to view information displayed by the App. You are responsible for protecting your device and deciding what information to use with the App.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
- cc_cookie: a strictly necessary first-party cookie used to remember your privacy choices. It is stored for up to 182 days.
- _ga and _ga_<measurement-id>: optional first-party Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish browsers and measure usage when analytics is accepted. Under the current configuration, these cookies may remain for up to two years and their expiry may be renewed when the App is revisited.
- You can accept or reject optional analytics through the cookie banner. You can later change or withdraw your choice through Cookie Settings in the App footer.
- Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using the App. You can also delete cookies and local browser data through your browser settings.
5. Google Analytics and Consent Mode
- We use Google Analytics 4 with Google consent mode to understand aggregate usage and improve the quality, usability, and stability of the App.
- Google tags may load before you make a choice. Analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalisation are denied by default.
- When analytics consent is denied, Google Analytics may receive cookieless signals that do not read or write analytics cookies. Such communications may include information such as user-agent information, screen resolution, and an IP address, although Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
- When you accept analytics, analytics storage is granted and Google Analytics may use first-party analytics cookies.
- We do not intentionally send uploaded CSV contents, interview questions, answers, names, email addresses, passwords, or account credentials to Google Analytics. We do not use Google Analytics for targeted advertising.
6. Purposes of Processing
- To provide and maintain the App
- To remember privacy choices and limited interface settings
- To understand aggregate usage, diagnose issues, and improve the App
- To protect the security, availability, and integrity of the App
7. Service Providers and International Processing
- Google provides Google Analytics and may process analytics information on our behalf. Information may be processed in countries outside Japan, depending on Google’s infrastructure and service arrangements.
- Google’s handling of information is also governed by its own privacy terms and policies, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- We do not sell personal information or analytics information.
8. Retention
- The consent cookie is retained for up to 182 days.
- Optional Google Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years, subject to renewal upon later activity and deletion through Cookie Settings or browser controls.
- Under our current Google Analytics property settings, event data is retained for 2 months and user data is retained for 14 months. Google Analytics may retain aggregated reporting data separately in accordance with its policies.
- Locally processed CSV contents remain only within your browser session. The App does not retain a server copy.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- You can reject optional analytics without losing access to the App and can change or withdraw your analytics choice through Cookie Settings.
- You can clear cookies and other locally stored settings through your browser controls.
- Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or other handling of information. We will respond to applicable requests when contacted using the details provided above.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to limit the information processed through the App and to keep uploaded contents local to your browser. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and you remain responsible for protecting your device and browser session.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable requirements. Material changes will be announced within the App or by another reasonable method. The current version will remain available on this page.
12. Effective Date
This Privacy Policy is effective from 21 August 2026.
